About Abdul
My name is Abdul Tejan-Jalloh aka "Abdul Tee-Jay Rokoto". I have been playing guitar since the age of eight in Sierra Leone.
My band Rokoto, which I lead have been playing live gigs and tours throughout the UK and abroad since the early eighties. I have four guitar based / world / traditional styles albums under my belt along with several studio sessions. Palm Wine , Highlife , East African and Congolese Gtr styles are my specialty.
I have also tutored and lectured my unique stlyle of guitar playing at schools and colleges in London along with doing student workshops. These include the Arts and Media Faculty at Westminster University in London.
