About Raina
Raina has been classically trained for 14 years. She started her training under Guru Avirup Sengupta, a disciple of the legendary dancers Smt Alokananda Roy and Smt Sujata Mohapatra. She has passed all her dance examinations till the 5th year (Seniormost exam) with distinctions. Performance Embarking on her performing journey at the tender age of 3, she has graced shows hosted by major corporations in India and garnered attention in various media outlets, including newspapers and Indian national television. Since shifting to the UK, in the past two years been invited to perform for the Indian Embassies of Scotland and London.

About the lesson

The lessons will start from basic as well as from intermediate levels depending on the grasp, past knowledge and comfort level of the learner. It will cover the basics of chowkas, tribhangas, mudras, expressions and much more. Once the learner gets comfortable with the basics, they will be further taught pure Odissi dance compositions. I also teach Bollywood/ Semi -Classical (including wedding choreographies)
