About Taylor

I believe that academic success is 20% content and 80% strategy. My background in high-level sports means I understand how to motivate students, build their confidence, and help them maintain the "winner's mindset" needed to tackle challenging exam papers.

I am passionate about breaking down complex literary analysis into a structured, logical "game plan" that delivers consistent, top-tier results. My goal is to empower the next generation of students to achieve the same elite-level grades that I have mastered.

Outside of the classroom, I am a dedicated athlete with a background in boxing, football, and golf. These disciplines have taught me the value of meticulous preparation, resilience, and goal-setting—qualities that I bring to every tutoring session.

About the lesson

Are you looking for more than just "homework help"? If you want a clear, proven roadmap to top marks in KS3 or GCSE English, you’ve found it.
Having achieved a 99 in my own English GCSEs, I don’t just know the curriculum—I know exactly what examiners are looking for and how to beat the mark scheme. I’ve turned the "subjective" nature of English into a structured, repeatable science that any student can master.

What sets my tutoring apart?
Unlike generic sessions, every lesson is meticulously planned and 100% tailored to:

Your Exam Board: Specialist focus on AQA, Edexcel, or OCR.
Your Specific Texts: Deep-dive analysis of your Shakespeare, 19th-century novel, or Modern play.

Your Current Grade: We identify your exact "sticking points" and bridge the gap to your target grade.

The "Structured Success" Method:
Bespoke Lesson Plans: No "winging it." Every hour is designed to maximise progress.

Exam Technique Mastery: Learn the specific structures and "high-value" vocabulary that trigger top marks.

Confidence Building: We break down complex analysis into simple, manageable steps.

Whether you are struggling to structure an essay or aiming to push from a Grade 7 to a 9, I provide the tools, the plan, and the insider knowledge to get you there.
