About Yu
Yu is an accomplished musician, classical pianist, composer, and educator from Inner Mongolia, China. Beginning piano at age four and later learning guitar, Morin Khuur, and handpan, Yu blends classical traditions with modern influences. He founded his high school’s light music ensemble, formed the hip-hop group T-force (later P.T.S.), and has recorded and released original music, including an underground hip-hop mixtape. With over 15 years of teaching experience for students of all ages. A prize-winning performer, he is dedicated to sharing the transformative power of music, inspiring students to explore creativity, expressiveness, and the joy of musical discovery.
