About Adam
About me;
I am a little neurotic about language, and spoken English particularly. Sometimes pronunciations can drift, neologisms appear, to supplant adequate existing vocabulary. As a second-language English learner, it is conceivable that you will need to be disabused of bad habits, or less-than-perfect example of English received from 'gaffing' native speakers.
My Canadian English is in actuality a subtype of General American English, the Canadian variation is one of regionality of dialect, and variant spelling usually closer to British and occasionally French, but Canadian English itself exists on a spectrum from Coast-to-Coast. Moreover, English is a living language and as such is subject to fracture and mutation, however for the purposes of learning English, much like truth Grammar will out.
While I have never taken a post tutoring before this, I am almost certain that I am the impetus my colleagues found for refining their knowledge and application of English, as I am (moreover) very certain that my children's English comes from learning by example in the home.

I conceive an ESL lesson as a conversation set to a timer, each party can ask and answer.
About you:
You are fit to participate if you will have already learned the 'Roman Alphabet,' have some sense of the difference sounds the symbols represent, have had auxiliary English exposure: (Film, TV, Youtube, ... loud neighbours, etc.) and you try to speak English. Pronunciation can be polished, but only once grammar is established.
its important to note-
If its topical in discussing that English verbs are of 2 types I can attempt to explain 'Strong' and 'Weak' verbs, how they can be identified, & may touch upon 'ablaut,' however,
-much like some 'gendered noun' languages, the English language's binary choice of how of which verbs are modified to show their tense, is without logic.
