About Ben
I live with my wife Hannah and our young daughter, and am currently pursuing studies in theology at Oxford.
I love tutoring and any form of teaching, and I also take groups round doing educational tours of my city.
I've done a lot of studying and exams in my time (including the long road to becoming a chartered accountant..) so hopefully can relate to you in your stage of education! I'd be excited to work together

My teaching approach is student-centred, engaging and discussion-based. For Theology and Biblical Studies, I combine clear explanations of key ideas and texts with questioning, discussion and exam-focused practice. I adapt each lesson to the student's needs, helping them build both subject knowledge and the confidence to analyse, evaluate and express their ideas clearly.
Lessons typically last one hour.
As a graduate, I bring strong academic knowledge and research skills to my teaching. I am able to explain complex theological and biblical concepts clearly and make them accessible to students.
My lessons are primarily for GCSE and A-level students, including those studying Religious Studies, Theology, Biblical Studies and related subjects. I can support students with understanding course content, essay writing, exam preparation and developing critical thinking skills.
