About Ariel
Hello potential student! My name is Ariel, and I’m from Cuba. I love my language and my culture, and sharing this with others brings me great joy. Having learnt English as a second language I know the challenges around language learning, and in particular how difficult it can be to translate technical knowledge into being able to interact confidently. This experience has shaped me as a Spanish teacher, and as a result I am patient, understanding and supportive. Whatever your goals are I would love to help you develop your Spanish in a way that is fun, rewarding and truly useful!

My approach is social and relaxed. Lessons are tailored to you, with homework tasks available if you would like them. I aim to make you functional in Spanish, rather than only having technical knowledge, and most importantly I make sure that lessons are enjoyable and not overwhelming.
