About Matthew
My name is Matthew Thomas Palmer and I graduated from York University in the UK in 2016. Since graduating, I have been privileged in finding some incredible teaching positions in many schools. I currently teach at Bootham School in York - a wonderful place which really values music learning of all kinds. I absolutely love teaching and am very lucky that it has now become a full-time profession.

I very much enjoy teaching all styles, from lesson No. 1 all the way through to Diploma level. I mainly teach primary school age, but do love teaching the higher grades as well. I am happy to work on exams with pupils in which I often use the ABRSM Board, but I also have other teaching methods aside from exams.
I also teach GCSE & A-Level Music.
