About Jazmynn
Hi, I’m Jazmynn! I'm currently an undergraduate student here in Parkland, Washington, at Pacific Lutheran University, studying Psychology!
I’m a dedicated and patient tutor with a real passion for helping students find their confidence in English. Whether it’s reading comprehension, essay writing, or grammar, I love making things feel less overwhelming and more approachable, especially for middle and high school students. I believe that learning works best when it feels safe, supportive, and a little bit fun. My approach is all about creating a calm space where students can ask questions freely, explore new ideas, and grow at their own pace. I use real-life examples and relatable topics to help lessons stick, and I always tailor my support to each student’s needs and goals. My background in English and hands-on tutoring experience has taught me that every student learns differently—and that’s a good thing! I’m here to help you understand the material in a way that actually makes sense to you. I take my role seriously, and I always show up prepared, positive, and ready to help however I can. I know English can feel overwhelming sometimes, so I keep my lessons calm, clear, and super relatable. I use real-life examples and topics that actually interest you to make things click—whether it’s breaking down a novel, planning an essay, or finally figuring out grammar rules.
My lessons are flexible and tailored to each student. We usually start by reviewing what you're working on in class or where you feel stuck, then build from there with simple explanations, guided practice, and fun ways to apply what you're learning. I love encouraging questions, and there’s never a wrong one in my sessions.
