In terms of languages, grammar is the most important component for me. It's good enough to know vocab but what is the point in knowing thousands of Latin words if you can't understand the context they've been put into? I'm a determined tutor, aiming to get the best out of my students, and also, to help them have a good time along the way!
I myself am a successful student, and my services are aimed mostly at those of GCSE, but also AS/A Level standards.
I’m a current second year student at King’s College London, where I have already studied Latin to a final year level. During term time, I volunteer as part of the Iris Project, to deliver an education in basic Latin to Year 7 pupils. By the end of our (terribly short!) academic year, my class had a confident grasp of basic Latin grammar and vocabulary, and were able to compose simple sentences from English into Latin. I have also worked at an English language summer camp with children from Spain, Italy, and Russia, so, rest assured, I am comfortable with all age groups.
My rates will remain stable for the foreseeable future.
I am currently a third year Classical Studies student at King’s College London, with specialisms in the Latin language and the Roman principate. Though an avid classicist, I am an able linguist, and enjoy the challenge of learning a new language. Since May 2019 I have been Co-Editor in Chief of the Classics Undergraduate Research Journal, and, at present, I am hoping to apply for postgraduate study in the field of business and management.

A Level results:- Classical Civilisation (A), Latin (A), French (A)
I studied A Level Latin alongside Becky before we both took up the subject at different universities. She is clearly passionate about Classics and has considerable expertise in Latin specifically. I am sure that Latin students will find her tuition very valuable
