About Brooke
I am a second semester junior enrolled at a four year college seeking a degree in English Studies with a minor in Classical Studies. Previously, I have interned with an online prep academy to edit student writing as well as with a magazine to create and edit my own articles. I hold an Associate’s degree in Communications, and currently, I am also a tutor at a writing center on my college campus.

I individualize how I approach tutoring to fit each unique circumstance of the person or child coming to me for tutoring. I feel everyone has a different learning style and therefore has different needs when it comes to academics. Typically, at the first tutoring session, I like to gain knowledge of how a student best learns and understands concepts in order to adapt my teaching style to their needs. After the initial lesson, I adapt the following session to include a schedule of how and when to study to efficiently organize the student’s time, plan for specific work on upcoming assignments, and enhance skills they feel are their weakest.
