About ANISH
Hi, I’m Anish — a third-year Data Science student at the University of Melbourne. I’ve always been passionate about math and computing, and that’s what led me to pursue a degree in a field that combines both. Over the past few years, I’ve studied subjects like Probability, Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Statistics in depth as part of my course, and I’ve applied them in real-world projects involving data analysis, machine learning, and programming. I’ve also worked on several projects using Python and C, and I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into simple, easy-to-understand steps. Although I’m new to formal tutoring, I’ve often helped friends and classmates throughout school and uni — and I’ve found that I really enjoy teaching and seeing others gain confidence in subjects they once found hard. I’m a patient and approachable tutor who understands that everyone learns differently. I’m here to help beginners or students struggling with the basics, and I always aim to create a supportive learning environment where questions are encouraged and progress is celebrated.

Hi, I’m Anish — a third-year Data Science student at the University of Melbourne with a strong academic background in mathematics, including Probability, Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Statistics.
My approach to tutoring is focused on building clear understanding and problem-solving skills. I believe in starting with the core concepts and helping students understand the why behind each topic — not just memorizing formulas, but truly grasping how and when to apply them. I use examples, visual explanations, and step-by-step problem breakdowns to make complex topics feel approachable.
Each lesson is typically 1 hour long and tailored to the student’s pace and learning style. I aim to make the learning experience comfortable, interactive, and engaging.
