About Jennifer
I am 3rd Year Modern and Contemporary History Student at the University of Leicester. I am passionate about all types of history, politics, and International relations.
Despite my degree focusing on modern history, I also enjoy learning, reading and researching about other periods such as Victorian, Tudo,r and International history.
My dream is to achieve a master's and PhD in international security studies, with a focus on Astropolitics.

I have extensive experience in tutoring and volunteering with children of all ages, and excited to share my love of history with younger students.
My lessons are for all ages with a specific focus on GCSE and A-level students in which I can teach a wide range of different historical topics from the Tudors to the Cold War.
I also aim to teach students the ways of perfecting revision and the importance of exam techniques to gain top marks. This will be achieved through extensive use of past papers, example essays and other revision materials that best suit the specific student.
Lessons will be an hour long, focussing on topics that the student struggles with, I will also focus on the application of the historical knowledge into an exam setting and questions rather than just learning dates and facts.
