About Sammy
I am a third year Philosophy student at University of Manchester but have studied Ethics since sixth form, as this was a component of my Philosophy A-Level. Having studied Ethics modules in each of my three years of undergraduate Philosophy, as well as currently writing my dissertation in Applied Ethics, I am very familiar, and indeed passionate, about Ethics in Philosophy.

My teaching method focuses on establishing the skills required to succeed in an exam. I will work through exam-style questions in a creative manner, whether that be through creating visual aids such as tables and spider diagrams, or active discussion to explore the student’s own intuitions and thoughts about the subject matter in question.

I have known Sammy for a number of years now and have seen how passionate and dedicated she is in her studies. She is a bright and welcoming individual who is keen to share and develop her knowledge, evident from her decision to further her learning and undertake a Masters degree in Philosophy. Sammy and I were in sixth form together, she really helped me understand philosophy and inspired me to get a degree in, what I like to phrase, human philosophy. Sammy is a great explainer, she can break things down to terms specifically to help an individual learn. I would choose Sammy if not only do I want help but inspiration!
