About Mara
I started studying Psychology at A-level, then at undergraduate level at the University of Bath. As part of my course, I work as an Honorary Assistant Psychologist in the NHS, which offers me broader knowledge of psychology, not only in terms of its theoretical elements, but also how these can be applied in a practical setting.

I’m happy to adapt my teaching method to whatever you think would suit you best. I’ll always aim to review how my method is working and get your feedback on what I could be doing differently to help you.
Generally, I like to encourage a collaborative atmosphere during my lessons, where it’s not just me teaching you, but you can also share your thoughts and ideas about the topic. I encourage discussions as I think these will help you develop your critical understanding of topics in psychology.
I’m a friendly, outgoing person and so I would like my lessons to feel like a relaxed place to learn and develop, and a safe space for expressing your own opinions.
