About Brooklyn

Hi, my name is Brooklyn. I am a third-year Trainee Clinical Psychologist working in the NHS and studying for my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in London. I have worked in the NHS for over five years, including working as an Assistant Psychologist across eating disorder and neuropsychology services. This has given me experience working with a range of people and developing a strong understanding of psychological theory, research and clinical practice.

Alongside my clinical work, I have always really enjoyed teaching and supporting others with their academic and professional development. I have experience helping students with Psychology at different levels, including essays, dissertations, research methods, personal statements, applications and interview preparation. I enjoy helping people break down complex topics, find their confidence and develop their own skills.

I’m friendly, approachable and passionate about Psychology, and I’d love to support you with whatever stage of your academic or professional journey you’re at.

About the lesson

I believe Psychology becomes much easier when you are supported to think critically, not just what to remember. My sessions are relaxed, encouraging and tailored to you. I’ll break down complex ideas, challenge your thinking and help you build the confidence to tackle essays, exams and research independently. As a Trainee Clinical Psychologist, I bring real-world experience and a genuine passion for Psychology. My goal is for you to leave every session feeling more confident than when you arrived.
