About Tom
I am a freelance orchestral Trumpeter, whose playing experience is with the UK’s leading orchestras. I have performed with the London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Halle Orchestra and Orchestra of Opera North. I am on trial at the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. I also have significant teaching experience, for Hertfordshire Music Service and Camden Music Service over the last couple of years.

I'm a freelance Trumpeter based in London. I am able to teach Trumpet from beginner to advanced levels (Grade 8/Diploma), Trombone, French Horn and Euphonium to a Grade 5 level, Music Theory to a Grade 8 level, and Piano to a Grade 3 level.
Having had recent experience of the ABRSM exam system, I know what is involved for examinations, and what it takes to perform well under exam pressure. However, I believe that music is also inherently a lot of fun, and I'm keen to keep lessons practical and involved.
