About Yilingg
I'm a recent A-Level graduate who achieved 4A* (Further Maths, Maths, Physics, Chemistry) with the Cambridge syllabus — a system I've studied under for over 10 years. I also achieved Top in Malaysia for IGCSE Physics (Oxford AQA). I believe that with the right guidance and environment, every student is capable of excelling academically. My goal is to help students not just pass, but genuinely understand and enjoy what they're learning.

My tutoring is student-centered, structured, and exam-focused. Every lesson begins with identifying your current understanding and pinpointing weak areas, so no time is wasted covering things you already know.
From there, concepts are broken down step by step using clear reasoning, worked examples, and visual explanations — building a strong foundation before moving into exam-style application. Once you're confident with the concept, we work through past paper questions together, where I teach you exactly what the mark scheme is looking for so you can maximise your marks.
I've used this approach across both IGCSE and A-Level levels, covering Further Maths, Maths, Physics, and Chemistry under the Cambridge syllabus, culminating in 4A* at A-Levels and Top in Malaysia for IGCSE Physics (Oxford AQA).
Typical sessions run 1 to 1.5 hours, with flexibility for longer sessions if needed. I also offer support between sessions — if something comes up after class, you're welcome to message me with questions on non-tutoring days.
