About Madhu
As an academic high achiever with a passion for teaching, I specialise in 11+ Mathematics and helping students achieve their full potential. My lessons combine personalised teaching with proven learning techniques, including memory associations, spaced repetition and active recall, enabling students to build confidence, improve problem-solving skills and perform at their best in Grammar School entrance examinations. Every child has the potential to excel with the right guidance and learning strategy. As an academic topper throughout school and college, I understand that success comes from understanding concepts rather than memorising them.
My lessons are carefully personalised to match each student's learning style, strengths and areas for improvement. I specialise in preparing students for 11+ Grammar School Mathematics, helping them develop strong foundations, logical thinking, speed, accuracy and confidence.
I use evidence-based learning techniques including:
Memory associations and visualisation
Spaced repetition for long-term retention
Active recall
Exam-focused problem-solving strategies
Regular progress assessments and personalised study plans
Lessons include concept explanation, guided practice, exam-style questions and homework tailored to the student's ability.
My aim is not only to help students achieve excellent examination results but also to develop confident, independent learners who genuinely enjoy solving problems.
