I'm a strong believer in the idea that practise makes perfect. My teaching method is based on that of my old English teacher. I begin by giving the student a practise exam, under exam conditions. I then correct the paper, and determine which are the strongest and weakest areas, proceeding to then consult with the student to understand why the results appear as they are. Once we've indentified which areas need the most work, I dedicate individual sessions to them, rather than spreading the time onto all the sections at once. I also provide work to be done between tutoring sessions, dependant on the area in which we are focusing. These can be anything from asking the student to view or listen to a piece of media to increase comprehension, to writing a short story or diary to familiarise themselves with the written format.

If the student cancels 24 hours or prior before the lesson, there is no cancellation fee. If the student cancels within 24 hours of the lesson, I would kindly request that 75% of the fee be paid
