About Thomas
Apart from gigging regularly all over Europe I also just finished my degree in contemporary music performance and production at LCCM.
I play with a wide variety of bands and artists with genres ranging from pop to Jazz.
My main projects at the moment are Universal artist "Zweikanalton" and my own Neo-Soul project where we exclusively play original material which I am extremely passionate and excited about.
I sometimes also play with the "Rocca Brothers Quintett" with which I had the great pleasure to go on my first ever tour in Morocco last year.
Before moving to London I have been teaching at the 'Downtown Music Institute' in my hometown in Germany which allowed me to gain some valuable teaching experience.
I am always trying to build my classes around the students' needs, level and interest in order to accommodate every individual.
Be it just starting out, getting back into it after sometime off the kit or just improving what's already there - either way I'd be delighted to share my passion for drumming with you.
I am teaching in my own studio in Bermondsey (SE16 4RA) - just outside the congestion zone, only a short walk from Bermondsey tube station.

Amazing to work with and learn from! Extremely talented and dedicated to his art. Was able to foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment for me to learn to the best of my ability. Always integrated simplistic yet highly effective teaching techniques and methods to understand the theory of the instrument and apply in real-time. Other than that, he is just an all around nice guy and so easy to get along with. Would recommend his services 110%.
My young son has taken drum lessons with Thomas and he really enjoyed them. Thomas is a great teacher, very professional with great knowledge in drums, music theory and composition. The lessons were fun and my son made great progress with regard to rhythm and coordination. I would definitely recommend Thomas as a teacher for pupils of all skill levels.
