About Aritro
I’m Aritro Chowdhury, a trained Indian Classical vocalist, singer-songwriter, and tabla player. I have been learning and performing music for many years, with training in both Indian Classical and contemporary music.
I hold a Visharad in Indian Classical Vocal from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and was awarded the CCRT Scholarship by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, for three consecutive years, achieving All India Rank 1 with an Outstanding Grade.
Music has always been a major part of my life. I come from a family of musicians and have had the opportunity to learn from experienced Gurus and renowned maestros. Alongside vocal music, I have trained in tabla and developed a strong understanding of rhythm, music theory, and musical expression.
As a singer-songwriter, I have released five original songs on streaming platforms. This experience has also helped me explore music beyond classical training and understand how its fundamentals can be applied to contemporary songs and songwriting.
I enjoy teaching because I believe that learning music should be both structured and enjoyable. Whether you are a complete beginner, want to improve your singing, or simply want to explore music as a hobby, I can tailor lessons to your interests, pace, and goals.

Want to learn music but don’t know where to start?
I’m Aritro Chowdhury, a trained Indian Classical vocalist, singer-songwriter, and tabla player. I teach music in a structured and beginner-friendly way, helping students develop strong fundamentals while discovering their own musical style.
I hold a Visharad in Indian Classical Vocal from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and was awarded the CCRT Scholarship by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, for three consecutive years, achieving All India Rank 1 with an Outstanding Grade.
Coming from a strong musical background, I have received vocal training under my mother and Guru, Vidushi Nabanita Chowdhary, a disciple of the legendary Padma Bhushan Pandit Rajan-Sajan Mishra. I have also trained in tabla under renowned maestros Pandit Anindo Chatterjee and Pandit Mithilesh Kumar Jha.
Beyond classical music, I am a singer-songwriter with five original songs released on streaming platforms, giving me experience across both traditional and contemporary music.
