I try to bring an essential part of my acting training in my teaching, as I aim for my classes to be very communicative, varied, fun and involving. I involve students and help them throughout their journey of discovery. Knowing that learning a language can be a tricky process, I use extremely varied materials and exercises to keep it fun and dynamic. Everything is tailored to the students, taking in consideration their needs, hobbies, difficulties, strengths, etc. in order to build together a personalized and efficient program.
I am a professional actress from Italy, currently based in London. While pursuing a career in acting, I also teach Italian on the side. I’ve always been very curious and fond of my native language and I have had the chance to explore it freely, through creative writing courses, and deepen my knowledge of it through many courses and workshops. I am a very communicative person, I love to learn and even more to share what I know. Teaching has been, and is, an enriching and fulfilling experience for me. My goal is to make it so for my students too.
After graduating from a high school with a program focused not only on the Italian language and literature, but also on its ancient roots (Latin and ancient Greek), I have taken many additional courses revolving around the Italian language, including creative writing and screenwriting. During my university years, I also worked as a freelance translator and private tutor, teaching both Italian and English.
I have recently obtained the “Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language” certificate from the Italian Cultural Institute of London, where I studied and trained to improve as a teacher.
