About the lesson

By establishing the specific needs of each individual student, I will be able to achieve a person-centred approach to learning. I will help build a specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely support plans for each student, with the aim of increasing a students confidence in these topics, and help them overcome any barriers or obstacles they may be experiencing.

I can help target each problem area for students, with the goal to reduce stress levels, and maintain students wellbeing - especially during times of extreme stress and anxiety, such as exam periods and deadlines.

About Jasmine

I am a BSc Psychology with Counselling, and MSc Forensic Psychology graduate; currently studying a practice doctorate in forensic psychology.

I am available to provide tutoring and mentoring to support those studying at GCSE, A-Level or degree level (degree level in specific modules only - please enquire)

My specific area of interests are forensic psychology, investigative psychology, social forensic psychology, psychopathology, counselling (CBT, DBT, PBS, mindfulness, Schema and MBT). Including Mental Health Act, Human Rights laws and PACE Act.

I am currently Trainee Forensic Psychologist working within the Prison System, and have over nine-years experience working in areas of clinical and forensic psychology. Including, the criminal justice system, criminal investigation and police, custody suites, community rehabilitation, HMP/YOIs, secure forensic and acute hospitals, as well as community mental health teams.
