About Oliver
I am currently training to teach physics at a secondary school level (including A-level). I studied natural sciences at Cambridge before spending a year as a patent attorney. I have had plenty of experience teaching online and in-person! While my specialism is physics, I have also spent much time teaching the other sciences to students aged 11-18.

I am a firm believer in scaffolding. Using questioning, I will determine what you know and how to develop this to match the understanding required for a variety of scientific problems. I think that developing explanations in logical steps is key. In the classroom I always focus on the individuals I have in there: what they know, what their strengths are and their best paths to success.
