About Taalannjay
I am Taalannjay Thakur, a passionate tabla artist, performer, and music educator dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich tradition of Indian classical music. With 22+ years of experience I have trained 100+ students and performed on prestigious stages across India. I am honored to be an A-Grade Artist of All India Radio (AIR) and a Limca Book of Records holder.
I believe music is more than learning an instrument—it's a journey of discipline, creativity, and self-expression. My goal is to make every student feel confident, motivated, and inspired while developing strong technical skills and a deep understanding of rhythm. Whether you're learning for personal enjoyment or professional growth, I look forward to being a part of your musical journey.

My tabla classes are designed for students of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced performers. With 22+ years of teaching experience and having trained 100+ students, I follow the traditional Guru-Shishya methodology while adapting each lesson to the student's learning pace and goals.
Each class includes hand technique, rhythm training, bols, compositions, improvisation, accompaniment, and performance practice. I focus on building a strong musical foundation with clear explanations, practical exercises, and regular feedback.
Whether you want to learn tabla as a hobby, prepare for concerts, examinations, or pursue Indian classical music professionally, I will provide personalized guidance in a friendly and motivating environment. Classes are available in English and Hindi, making learning enjoyable, structured, and rewarding.
