I will base my methodology on individual goals and interests of the student but I will mainly aim to teach speaking (as sometimes it is hard to start actually speaking a language). However, grammar is also important. as well as vocabulary and listening skills, so I will balance all the aspects of language learning, adding some culture aspects to the mix.
Translator (RU/EN/ES, Russian native speaker) living and working in London, currently doing a PhD at Imperial College.
I have been learning languages (English, Spanish, French and - at beginner level as part of my undergraduate degree - Ancient Greek, Latin, Basque and Finnish) for more than 15 years and I know how challenging it can be. However, with the right goal and right people to help it is also incredibly exciting!
