"My BA in Modern Languages and CELTA sit on my desk alongside stacks of well-worn grammar guides. I often think of language as a bridge built from small, sturdy blocks of vocabulary and syntax.
My 17 years in the classroom have taught me that absolute beginners and IELTS candidates require a very different pace. I enjoy working with business travellers because they need immediate, high-impact results for their careers. Phrasal verbs and idioms are the secret ingredients that make speech sound natural.
