Found out about Meagan through one of my old piano teachers, Karl Lutchmayer. I'm told she's the only professional harpist in India and it was a pleasure meeting her. Was able to rent a 33 string harp from her and start lessons on short notice. Skilled and patient teacher as well, highly recommend her.

A chance meeting between my son and musician Meagan Pandian was how I got to know that there was actually a harp tutor in my city!
As a senior citizen with zero musical education, my first question was whether I was too old to start. Meagan's swift response, that one is never too old to learn, opened up a world I had only dreamed about for decades as the harp was previously unknown and unavailable in India. Meagan actually undertakes to import the harps for her students.
Her constant warm encouragement, immense patience, sensitivity to the needs and pace of learning of each student, her gentle yet insistent reminders about posture and technique, and her keen attention to the development of a professional discipline right from the foundational stage makes her an exceptional tutor. She trained us in tuning from the get-go, and teaches both theory and practice simultaneously.
