I have more than 5 years of experience in tutoring and teaching in primary schools - Raglay Primary School, Harris Academy Shortlands and also West Hill Primary School in Dartford. I also have experience teaching children in specialist schools like West Gate and Party Hill Primary School. - Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate? My tuition company is an Ofsted-registered company situated in Orpington High Street. We have won 2 awards for best tuition centre. We are proud to help children to pass 11 plus entrances. We have a 100% success rate. - Which subject(s) do you teach? My sessions include Verbal English Comprehension, Techniques for Creative Writing, Creating Easy Methods for Making Verbal Easy, Mathematics. - Tell me about your qualifications. I am a qualified teaching assistant and I have more than 5 years' experience preparing children for 11 plus entrances. I have taken classes in grammar and independent schools like Newstead and Bromley High School. - How much do you charge? Group classes at Orpington High Street are for 120 mins for Year 5 and I charge £50 for group sessions and £40 for Year 4/3 for 90 mins. We take children from Year 3 to Year 6. - Where do you teach? I teach in my centre at Orpington High Street. Our centre is situated near the best 2 grammar schools, Newstead and St Olave's Grammar Schools. My group classes are very friendly and homework is given according to the student's availability. Our tuition has started a new thing that is an online test and every child is given two links every weekend for maths and English and they need to complete them by Friday. We also work for scholarship exams for private schools. - When are you available? I am available to teach on weekdays in the evenings and weekends. We also have an intensive course for Year 5 in the summer holidays which also includes a mock test. Our tuition is in high demand and we are happy to include more children who are keen to pass 11 plus. - Which ages and levels do you teach? I provide tuition to children to prepare them for all sorts of 11 plus assessments. I am equipped to provide group sessions for Year 4 and Year 5 students, with no more than 6 per group. This limit allows me to work closely with each child. I also prepare children for private school entrance exams like Sevenoaks, Dulwich, Bromley High etc. I normally cover all the topics for 11 plus for GL assessments. The main subjects are Verbal English Comprehension, Techniques for Creative Writing, Creating Easy Methods for Making Verbal Easy, Mathematics. We are pleased that we offer dependable 11 plus group tuition and one-to-one tuition to children in Chislehurst, Kent, and the surrounding area. We prepare children to pass selective, super selective schools and private school entrance exams. Ambitious Learning also has practice papers for 11 plus which can be practised side by side with 11 plus books. Now no need to register for online extra help for 11 plus as we also provide online tests to children to practice on their computers at home as homework. These papers will be available soon for other parents to purchase from our website and also try online. The practice papers will include all the topics of 11 plus assessment like synonyms and antonyms etc. Our mock tests are available to book now for the summer term for children giving the exams this September 2018. - Which qualifications do you prepare your students for? . How ALT tuition works for children. Every weekend Year 5 work on Maths (problem solving) Vocabulary - ambitious words Creative Writing (all formats, cover difficult topics, 2 pages in 30 mins) Comprehension (complex) Sentence formation Verbal Reasoning Non-Verbal Reasoning Year 3 and Year 4 have tuition on weekends and work on their foundation skills for all the subjects. Online tests are the main and important part of ALT tuition and are included in the price of the tuition. Every time a child completes ALT online 11 plus tests in Maths and English, our ALT tuition learns a little more about their strengths and weaknesses and works with them in the tuition to improve them. ALT practice papers and ALT online tests work really well with every child. - Do you have a personal message for students?
