About Ayca
Hello. My name is Ayça. I graduated from the English Language and Literature department. I have been teaching for five years. After graduating, I gained international experience by completing a four-month English teaching internship at an IT company in Tunisia. After returning to Türkiye, I completed the Pedagogical Formation programme and, during this time, also worked as a freelance English teacher and completed my internship in Türkiye. Subsequently, I assisted LGS students and other secondary school-level students with their English lessons at a course. I provided both psychological and academic support to my students and guided them. During this time, I learned to build strong relationships with my students, motivate them, and adapt my lessons to their needs. For me, teaching is not just about imparting knowledge, but also about inspiring my students and helping them speak with confidence. In my lessons, I prioritise making my students feel comfortable. We will get to know you closely, set your goals and create the most suitable learning plan for you together. You will find a relaxed, supportive and enjoyable environment in my lessons; so you can develop without fear of making mistakes. By working with me, you will not only learn Turkish, but you will also succeed in speaking with confidence and make this language a natural part of your life!

Lessons are conducted online and usually last 60 minutes. I start by determining the student's goals and current level to create an individualised plan. Each lesson focuses on a new topic or theme, with plenty of speaking practice. At the end of the lesson, feedback is provided, and homework or additional materials are given. To keep the student motivated, every lesson is fun and productive. In my lessons, I use communication-focused and student-centred approaches. I support grammar and vocabulary teaching with practical methods. Taking into account each student's unique learning style, I combine visual and auditory methods.
