My name is Maya, and I’m a hardworking, trustworthy 13-year-old straight-A student currently in 8th grade. I take pride in my ability to explain things clearly and make learning enjoyable for younger students. I’ve always loved school—especially math—and I enjoy helping others feel confident and successful in what they’re learning. I’m responsible, kind, and easy to talk to, and I always make sure my students feel supported and heard. I’ve worked with elementary and middle schoolers before, and I know how to break things down in a way that makes sense.
