About Grace
Convenience: for convenience, by promoting two events together, we can save resources
Create synergy: The two events can create synergy because when they are promoted together, they can strengthen each other, where people who are interested in the giveaway are encouraged to attend the review session, and those who are interested in the review session may get to know about the giveaway and choose to participate
Retention rate: traditional giveaways might have a problem where people will unfollow when they didn’t get the prize, or people just didn’t even like the page in the first place. That way, the seemingly improved stats are only numbers, not loyal followers. However, this giveaway can lead people to attend the review sessions, and the review sessions can become what they are staying with Lumist for. Moreover, holding the giveaway at the end of the review sessions can also increase the retention rate of the review sessions, where students would more likely to stay until the end.
Costs: if we hold a giveaway at every review session, there might be an increased cost in purchasing the prizes because there are many review sessions and thus many giveaways
Awareness: if we give students a choice to whether comment on and share our post or not (because they can also choose to gain only one entry by attending the review session) there might be a lower rate of commenting and sharing, thus decreasing effectiveness in the spreading of words about the event, but it is still going to be higher rate than that of the review sessions without this new giveaway. We can require that all event participants to comment or share in order to join the review sessions, but raising the barrier to entrance may cause some loss of participants.
Participation rate: there is a risk of a low participation rate, which will lower our benefit-cost ratio, where the increased participatio
