About Julie
As stated before, I am a CELTA-trained tutor (Cambridge English), and achieved my qualification some 15 years ago. Since then I have taught in several EU countries, namely Italy and Spain, and have had students from a countless number of other countries (including China, Japan, UAL, France) as my students here in the UK and at all levels.
While I was teaching in Italy, I also attained assessment status which enables me to understand at what level each student is and what type of resources to use with that student so that the student and I are not wasting valuable time going back over what you would already know.
I should say also that one of the key factors of learning anything, and especially languages, is the importance of fun and this will be reflected in my lessons.

My one-hour lessons for each student are guided by the student so the level of your English and your age is not important. The main criterion is your wanting to learn English for whatever reasons.
My CELTA-based lessons will enable you to communicate/interact easily with people around you as well as in writing, both informal and formal English as you require.
Lessons will include speaking, listening, reading and writing and at the upper levels of skill, the use of English which is when you will start to speak and converse as the British people do on a daily basis, enabling you to speak faster and think faster in English. They will include pronunciation, grammar, spelling, vocabulary, and incorporate Maths so that you can think in values and balance between language and quantity.
