About Xin Yi
I fell in love with the flute when I was 10 years old and achieved Grade 8 distinction with ABRSM within five years. I have had extensive performance experience in recitals and both local and school orchestras. I also was accepted and participated in a National Youth Orchestra course.
I don't have previous experience teaching flute, but do have some teaching experience- I taught English to young children in India for three weeks last year.

Hi, I'm Xin Yi!
I'm looking to tutor flute to beginners or flute players who are around the standard of Grade 4 ABRSM. (I don't however tutor for students wishing to take the ABRSM exams).
I also play piano so would be able to utilise it as an aid in lessons if you have one- it would be helpful but not entirely necessary.
I would help to achieve a good tone and technique, and hope to make lessons fun and engaging, developing my students' love for music.
