About Chantelle
I currently work in a specialist room within a nursery for children age 2 - 5 with various additional needs. I have lots of experience working as a carer to children with complex health care needs and disabilities where I also provide educational activities for the children who are unable to go to school. I have experience working as a teaching assistant and learning mentor for behaviour in a special needs school and am currently working towards a degree in Education Studies (Primary) with hopes of becoming an SEN teacher.

I am looking to tutor children of early years or primary age with special educational needs and disabilities. My lessons will be personalised to your child and family's goals and level of development, if your child has an EHCP I will work with you towards your targets. A lot of the work I do is through play and exploration and finding the best learning style for your child. Lessons can take place in your own home or out in the community. I am happy to work on guidance from other professionals such as speech and language or physiotherapists. For our first session I will meet with you to discuss what you want to gain from our sessions and whether you have a specific goal or you would just like all-round education. I will enjoy this opportunity to meet and get to know your child and you can provide me with all the necessary information, your child's strengths, struggles, if any aids are needed etc.
