About William
My name is Will and I'm a teacher because I myself had a difficult time at school and, to put it simply, want to help those who are struggling with the same things I did. I take an holistic approach to education, and my lessons are very goal-focused - what matters is that you learn and understand the things you need to, not how we learn it! After all, every student has a different brain, and so every student requires a different approach. It's part of what makes the job fun, for both of us to work together to figure out how best to help you personally!

My lessons are very individualised and personalised to the needs to the student, by necessity; they range from very practical based to more exploration and application of theory. Lessons are typically 1 hour long, but this can change on a case-by-case basis. Lessons are aimed at teaching students problem-solving skills and confidence alongside the academic goals; typically for GCSE/secondary school students.
I'm able to do this as, alongside my 10+ years of working with children at a variety of schools and youth groups, I also am neurodivergent myself with a diagnosis of ADHD and mild autism. This means that I can provide a unique insight into the struggles that each student faces, and have personal experience with the barriers they are attempting to overcome.
Already I have helped 3 different students out of 3 pass their GCSEs this year alone after less than a year of tutoring; this included getting 2 of them back into school after periods of school-refusal.
