About Simon
I'm Simon, a recent A level Politics & History student, I'm predicted to achieve an A* in Politics and an A in History. I've received offers to study Politics at top Universities including Leeds & Glasgow. Having just sat the course myself, I understand both the content and the exam technique needed to succeed, as well as the areas students often struggle with most. I want to use that recent experience to help students improve their confidence, strengthen their essay writing and achieve the best grades possible in A Level Politics & History without the stress hanging over them.

My lessons will adapt to tailor to your individual needs and weaknesses, whether that be working on your understanding of concepts, your confidence in essay writing, whatever needs working on while also working with you on key areas many students miss & ignore. I recently sat my A-levels and know areas students overlook or focus too much on one area while neglecting others that are just as important for achieving top grades. My lessons are aimed at A-Level Politics and/or History students who want to improve their understanding of content, strengthen their essay technique and become more confident when approaching exam questions. We can focus on essay plans, timed questions, revision strategies and breaking down difficult topics in a clear and manageable way, with each lesson shaped around the areas you need the most help with. Whether you are aiming to move up a grade boundary, improve your structure and analysis, or push for an A/A*, my teaching will be focused on helping you make clear progress in the areas that matter most.
