Methodology

I use differentiation within my teaching methods and base my classes on an eclectic array including; deligatory, facilitator, demonstrator and hybrid. This depends upon learner needs and subject matter being delivered. Basically I like to think any lessons I deliver are learner centred.

Background

My backgrounds includes youth work,; management of a domestic violence project where I also delivered training to other professionals, lecturer, parenting programme co-ordinator, tutor, and senior family support worker within the national 'troubled families agenda'. I have taught and trained over 2000 individuals.

• As part of the ‘Troubled Families’ Agenda’ managed teams across the county who worked with vulnerable families
• Responsible for undertaking monthly supervision sessions with each team member
• Over-all responsibility for grievance/disciplinary procedures within team
• Sole responsibility for ensuring up-dating of electronic information after each supervision/visit/contact
• Sole responsibility for liaising between all other services including child protection team
• Responsible for awareness raising/networking, organising workshops, training and team building
