About Margaret
I have taught History, English Literature and Art History at varying levels for over 30 years, and for almost the same amount of time have offered specialist learning and study support to students. These subjects are my passions.
Our lessons will be aimed at what you have identified as being of need to you in your studies. They will include help with revision, time management, planning and organisation, especially if you are working towards a qualification. There will be ample time for questions, discussions and debates and considering different ideas. The subjects lend themselves very well to discussions!

All teaching is delivered online and typically of one hour's duration
Students from 16 years to adults
Teaches subjects to GCSE and A Level standards or for cultural interest
Experienced in giving in-depth learning and study support to students at all levels, including those preparing for/currently studying in Higher Education
Fee: £30 per hour, days, evenings, weekend slots
At the start, time will be spent getting to know the student, creating a relaxed atmosphere and discussing their needs, preferred learning methods, identifying their perceived strengths and areas where further support is needed. It is essential that the student feels consulted and heard at all times, in order for them to participate fully in the learning process.
