About Troy
During my professional career, I've worked now for over six years as an in-person/online tutor and over two years as an SAT prep tutor. I enjoy working with a variety of students to understand each student's individual learning needs, and I enjoy helping them master tests by focusing on both test content and test-taking strategies.

Everyone has different ways of learning SAT material. In my SAT sessions, my goal is to tailor my sessions so that we focus on not just test content but also test-taking strategies. I like to keep the students as engaged as possible, and I continuously ask questions to check for understanding. These approaches have helped a lot of my students achieve higher SAT scores!
