About Shantanu
Hey there! My name is Shantanu Taya and I am a Master of Information Technology student here at Flinders. I am an engineer and love my work. I also love to teach and guide students who want to pursue their careers in STEM as this can be a challenging task for the uninitiated. Throughout my academic career, I have been through many school and competitive exams which I have always passed gracefully. Scoring high in any exam needs more than just solving problems. It's a process that has to be followed with consistency and dedication. I have a lot of tools, techniques, and tips that can make this process enjoyable as I believe that it's not just the studies that make scores better; it's how the students engage with the ideas of the subject. I am also a huge promoter of working out as it promotes mental and physical health. I myself have been an active athlete and have participated in various sports from swimming to alpine hiking and these days running marathons. I read a lot of material other than my curriculum which I also promote my students to do as well.

I have been working as a tutor for about 2 years now and the students were extremely satisfied with the results and my way of teaching. From my experience, I know that each student is different and may require a different approach to various topics. I provide 1-on-1 and group sessions which can be held online and in person (recommended). I'll suggest that you club a group of mates as it enhances the learning experience by causing the exchange of ideas; moreover, I have group discounts available :) The classes can take place in Flinders library and the suburbs surrounding Campbelltown. I don't take up many students for the semester to maintain the quality, but I have slots for the coming study year. Contact me for further details and pricing.
