My tutoring approach is to develop critical thinking and passion in my subjects
Methodology
My philosophy to teaching is to encourage critical thinking and engagement in my pupils. As a result, my pupils have been able to think beyond their immediate syllabus and view the materials we cover as a small component of wider issues. This often makes for much more sophisticated answers, often boosting their grades by at least 2 levels.
Experience
I studied MML at Oxford and have been tutoring since my first year of university. Experience include English (literature and language) and foreign languages. I enjoy fostering critical thinking and engagement in the student I have the privilege of working with.
Outside of academia, my background as a strategy consultant before moving into the financial services industry has trained me to distill and explain complex information.
