About Gautham
Hi, my name is Gautham, I am a second-year student in the faculty of science at UBC in progress towards a BSc in Maths. I have always been passionate about teaching and sharing my understanding. I do have a year of experience working as a chess instructor.

-My approach as a tutor is heavily based on helping students understand concepts and ideas so that students in the future will have a more learning-oriented approach when it comes to studying.
-A typical lesson plan would be to first start with helping them visualize and understand the concept and ensure that the students would be capable of explaining it back to me. Then I would have a set number of problems to test this understanding.
