About Justin
Hi there, I'm Justin, a third-year BSc/MD (provisional entry) student at the University of Sydney, and I'm super excited to help you get into your dream medical school.
Originally from New Zealand, I scored 3400 on the UCAT, 110 points higher than the 99th percentile, and was the first student from my school to ever gain direct entry into an Australian medical school (in my case, three of them).
I have 2 years of tutoring experience, and my background, from a diverse, working-class region, has meant that I've developed unique, highly effective strategies to 'solve' UCAT and interviews, so my lessons will be both high yield, and different from other tutors.

My approach to studies, whether UCAT or Interviews has always consisted of 3 steps:
1) Understanding content and setting out targeted, achievable goals,
2) Perfecting techniques to reach those goals,
3) And developing unique skills/traits, on top of perfected techniques.
I will help you to achieve your medical aspirations with individually tailored strategies while building on tested methods.
For UCAT, this means both practice in addition to theory and time management, particularly Verbal Reasoning, a section students tend to struggle with, which happens to be my specialty.
For Interviews, I will share the lessons that helped me gain entry into all of the medical schools I applied to, Monash, UQ, and USYD as an interstate student. This involves medical ethics, as well as assisting you to develop unique, individual responses to common questions.
