About Samuel
I attained a first in first year at University College London (UCL) studying Computer Science and i`m currently in second year. My degree so far has fuelled my passion for science and technology . It has motivated me to show people that knowing about the developments of the world around us and being involved in them is an exciting prospect.
Additionally, I have substantial experience in tutoring as I have been teaching Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics from the time I finished my GCSEs (3 years ago) and I have also tutored students for the 11 plus exams. I’m keen on ensuring my students master the content so that they can answer any question on said topic no matter how the examiners try to complicate them. Going through the education system has taught me the importance of the application of knowledge which is at the core of the new GCSEs and A Levels and which is why I spend time going through past papers and exam technique.
I am hardworking and dedicated to everything that I do including tutoring – evident from my GCSE (10 A*s and 2 As) and A Level (3 A*s and 1 A) grades.

I am proficient in Java, Python, C and Haskell and I have completed many projects in these languages such as writing a cloud application to store patients’ information in a database whilst also building a graphical user interface for it (in Java) and making an AI to play Tetris given an API (application programming interface) (in Python). Anyone could learn a programming language and I would be able to steer you in the right direction.
