About Dania
Hello! I am currently a second-year medical student studying at University College London (UCL). I am happy to tutor Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, English Lit & Lang, History and Geography up to GCSE level and Biology, Chemistry and History up to A-level.
I am also happy to help students prepare for medical school admissions, whether that be help with interview practise, UKCAT and BMAT or anything else in between.
I know from experience that a bad teacher can make simple concepts seem difficult and a good teacher can make even the most difficult ideas easy to understand. My love for learning was nurtured by interactions with the latter type of teacher; one who loved their subject and was able to help me really understand the core principles underpinning a topic so that I could apply it to more difficult questions. I therefore aim to do the same which will help students break down any barriers they feel they have with certain subjects and that is inhibiting them to reach their full potential. Understanding and then practise is what I believe leads to a student being confident tackling whatever question is given to them and I aim to provide both.
Through experience of tutoring a range of different people, I am able to adapt my teaching style to make sure it's tailored to the student based on their strengths and weaknesses.
