About Aanya
I am currently studying Medicine at UCL. Outside of academics, I am very passionate about sport and staying active. I play lacrosse regularly and also enjoy watching and playing football. I also love travelling, as it allows me to experience new cultures and perspectives. These interests have helped me develop qualities such as discipline, teamwork and communication, which I bring into my tutoring.
I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy helping students understand topics that they may initially find difficult. Having recently completed GCSEs and A-Levels myself, I understand the challenges students face and the importance of clear explanations and good exam technique. My goal is to help students gain confidence, improve their grades and feel more comfortable with Maths, Chemistry and Biology.

I take a clear, structured, and supportive approach to tutoring, focusing on helping students fully understand concepts rather than just memorising answers. I break down difficult topics step-by-step and use examples before moving on to exam-style questions to build confidence and strong exam technique.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes long and are interactive, allowing students to ask questions and work through problems with guidance. I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs, focusing on areas they find most challenging.
I have around 1.5 years of tutoring experience and currently study Medicine at UCL, after achieving strong GCSE and A-Level results in Maths, Chemistry, and Biology. My lessons are aimed at GCSE and A Level students who want to strengthen their understanding, improve their grades, and feel more confident in these subjects.
