About Jack
I am an engaging and dynamic Spanish tutor eager to help GCSE students improve their language skills and ace their exams. The best thing I ever did in my educational journey was to apply myself in my GCSE and A-Level Spanish classes, as it has allowed me to travel and connect with people socially and professionally all across the world. I now want to make sure that more people in the UK grow up with the confidence to speak another language, as it is a key to unlocking a whole other world later in life. I am eager to help you along the way to your Spanish speaking journey!

My lessons are either one or two hours and targeted at GCSE students preparing for their Spanish exams. As an educator, I practise flexibility depending on the student's level and specific areas to focus on for improvement. I place great emphasis on instilling confidence in pupils' ability to speak the language freely whilst making sure that the nuts and bolts of grammar are understood. As Spanish is my second language, I too have had to learn it from scratch, giving me a unique ability to break down the best ways for learners to wrap their heads around this at-times confusing but highly rewarding language. I have previous experience running catch-up sessions in a secondary school and have recently completed my master's degree at UCL's Institute of the Americas, where I conducted my fieldwork interviews in Mexico entirely in Spanish.
