About Diogo
I’m a UEFA A licensed coach with a pretty diverse background in the game. I’ve spent time coaching at a high level in Portugal and Finland, and more recently, I’ve been right in the mix of the English semi-pro scene with clubs like Enfield Town, Eastbourne Borough, and Wingate & Finchley. I’ve worked with everyone from U10s to first-team adults, and these days, I’m still heavily involved with youth and 1st team non-league clubs across North and East London. Before I became a full-time coach, I played at high academy level in Lisbon.

"Everything I do is player-centred. I sit down with the player and their family first to make sure we’re all on the same page: are we sharpening their natural talents or working on their weaknesses? My background is a bit unique because I’m UEFA A licensed and a qualified fitness coach. This means I can design a complete plan that covers both technical skills and the physical power/agility needed for the modern game."

Perfect! Diogo’s an excellent coach and extremely knowledgeable! He is a pleasure to work with and he takes his craft very seriously. Players can only thrive under his guidance.
Perfect! We had our first session with Diogo and were really impressed with his approach. He was professional, knowledgeable and gave the boys clear, practical instructions throughout the session.
What stood out most was how well he tailored the coaching to their individual technical needs and positions, focusing on specific areas where each of them could improve. The feedback was constructive, clear and easy for the boys to understand and put into practice. Highly recommended!Perfect! I had my first session with Diogo and it was excellent. He was very professional, friendly and made me feel comfortable from the start. He took the time to assess every aspect of my game, including my technique, movement, decision making and fitness, then tailored the session specifically to what I needed to improve. The drills were engaging, varied and really enjoyable, and the hour flew by because of how well structured everything was. He explained techniques clearly, gave useful feedback throughout and pushed me at the right level. I'm really looking forward to continuing my training with him and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve both their football ability and overall fitness.

Amazing professional with a lot of knowledge and expertise in football. Definitely recommend.
Super coach very professional with a big knowledge and expertise. Definitely recommended.
Over the last 6 years that my boy has been playing, he has tried many different forms of extra training in terms of clubs and 1:1. After just a few sessions with Diogo, it has completely changed his way of thinking. From how his body moves/momentum to how to make the most out of his height. His teammates and parents have also seen a noticeable improvement in power, agility, distribution, and most importantly, confidence. The weeks literally can't come around quick enough, and he is always buzzing for the next session. Diogo delivers a high-energy, very positive style of training, and I can't recommend him enough.
I booked a 1-to-1 session for my 11-year-old son, and it was absolutely fantastic! The attention to detail and the sheer effort Diogo put into building a personalized plan that perfectly fit our needs was amazing. The session was packed with great technical and agility drills, focusing exactly on what my son needed to improve his running technique—using coordination ladders and other stuff. The technical side was intense and engaging. We’ve had other sessions in the past that turned out to be a bit boring and repetitive, but definitely not this one! Thank you so much, Diogo! :)
Diogo is by far the best football coach I have ever met! His knowledge is a powerful database for any level of practice, his passion for football is inspiring and mostly, his way of teaching not only shaped my son's skills but also made him more confident and disciplined!
