About Diogo
I’m a UEFA A licensed coach with a pretty diverse background in the game. I’ve spent time coaching at a high level in Portugal and Finland, and more recently, I’ve been right in the mix of the English semi-pro scene with clubs like Enfield Town, Eastbourne Borough, and Wingate & Finchley. I’ve worked with everyone from U10s to first-team adults, and these days, I’m still heavily involved with youth and 1st team non-league clubs across North and East London. Before I became a full-time coach, I played at high academy level in Lisbon.

"Everything I do is player-centred. I sit down with the player and their family first to make sure we’re all on the same page: are we sharpening their natural talents or working on their weaknesses? My background is a bit unique because I’m UEFA A licensed and a qualified fitness coach. This means I can design a complete plan that covers both technical skills and the physical power/agility needed for the modern game."

I booked a 1-to-1 session for my 11-year-old son, and it was absolutely fantastic! The attention to detail and the sheer effort Diogo put into building a personalized plan that perfectly fit our needs was amazing. The session was packed with great technical and agility drills, focusing exactly on what my son needed to improve his running technique—using coordination ladders and other stuff. The technical side was intense and engaging. We’ve had other sessions in the past that turned out to be a bit boring and repetitive, but definitely not this one! Thank you so much, Diogo! :)
